UAH Accreditation
The University of Alabama in Huntsville is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools to award bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees. Several UAH programs are accredited by their respective accrediting agencies. Academic programs in chemistry are accredited by the American Chemical Society. Six undergraduate engineering programs (chemical, civil, computer, electrical, industrial and systems, and mechanical) are accredited by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET). Both undergraduate and graduate programs in nursing are accredited by the National League of Nursing (NLN). Computer science holds accreditation from the Computer Sciences Accreditation Board (CSAB). Programs in music and music education are accredited by the National Association of Schools of Music (NASM). All business programs offered by the College of Administrative Science are accredited by AACSB International - The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. The degree programs are the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with majors in Accounting, Finance, Management, Marketing, and Management Information Systems, the Master of Science in Management, the Master of Accountancy, and the Master of Science in Management Information Systems.
